2026 ins and outs
Hello, I deemed myself as someone who despise routine but can't survive without one. Instead of making a rigid hour by hour schedule, I love to check off my list. Something that I can do anytime and anywhere, as long as it is completed. As usual, for 2026 there are things I want to priorities and leave in 2025.
INS:
Relearn grammar
I have a pretty bad grammar and I want to relearn the entire thing. I already a few pages in English Grammar in Use and found it very useful to brush up my technical skill (grammar is technical right?).Write, properly
One of the reason why I publish on substack again. I just want to make a habit and deadline (a very gentle pressure) will hopefully help me with this target.Exercise
I have an extra time for regular exercise. Not hardcore, just 3 times a week. This is the baseline that I made for myself and try to stay consistent.
OUTS:
Social media/phone addiction
This is a pretty huge deal for me because of my on off interaction with it. But in 2026 I will try my best to reduce the usage because I feel healthier if I don't stuck on the scrolling loopShopping
I don't think I can entirely pull off the no-buy challenge for 2026, but I can, again, try my best. I don't buy stuff every month unless it's physical books (only buy secondhand now). I don't want to feel like I'm punishing myself so I need to find a middle ground for this.Binge eating
I eat snack too much that it affect my weight. So far I can stay the same weight for a few years but now it start gaining quite fast.
It's pretty basic. I just want to take care of my health and my attention in 2026.
new year yet still confused,
